The Rand McNally Street Guide of the Dallas/Fort Worth Metroplex is the most complete and up-to-date altas of the area. Its easy-to-use format and awesome detail make traveling much simpler.

Yes, this may sound bad to long time residents, but I do find the Rand McNally version better than Mapsco's number 1 atlas for the area. This is why:1) It covers roughly the same area (even larger by a few communities) and is half the price. Sure, the listing is more the atlas type, but Mapsco's "guide" type listing isn't really all that useful - it's not really a guide, doesn't include hotel's or restuarants, so it's not worth the extra price.2) It is much easier to use as it is not divided into Dallas and Fort Worth sections, which make Mapsco very hard to use for cities like Arlington or Grand Prairie. Also the numbers of pages are more logical in this Rand McNally Atlas.3) It packs the same amount of maps in a much smaller size (classic Rand McNally street guide size) in all dimentions. It is also much lighter to carry around.

It was better then I expected awesome to find places as sometimes is hard to find places on google maps
