If you know anything about inbound marketing, this book is a waste of your time.Here is what the books says:1) Implement an inbound marketing strategy (author would like you to buy HubSpot since he's in sales at HubSpot)2) As a sales person, use leads that come in from Inbound marketing campaigns.That's it. I'm not lying. The first 28% of this book is sort of the author talking about himself and how amazing he thinks HubSpot is. The one chapter on game plan is the steps I laid out above. The rest is really sort of a mishmash of filler.This is a giant sales tactic for HubSpot services. If you want to read a good book on HubSpot, read Disrupted. Awesome read.Hope this helps.

Having read a lot of sales books in my day, I am almost always skeptical when yet another one comes out.However, Brian Signorelli's Inbound Selling defies the trend. Instead of just rehashing the same hackneyed sales truisms he explores growing into a sales career and shares actual tactical insights from his journey from 0 experience to a manager on of one of the highest performing channel sales teams in the company. Brian is a good story teller, and I would go as far to say that it would make an interesting read regardless of whether or not you are interested in sales.Check it out if you are a sales person/manager and you will walk away with actionable ways you can grow your career and improve your craft. There is also some really interesting perspective on the future of the profession that anyone who works in the industry should be aware of.

I'm constantly reading any books I can get my hands on related to sales, marketing, organizational development, and general professional development and upskilling. This book checks the boxes and I predict it will become a leader in all those categories. If you are in sales buy this book, apply this book, and success will follow. I'll share my story to paint the picture. I'm making a career transition from law to SaaS sales and I picked this book up to accelerate my learning curve and grab some actionable tools. I used the pre and post planning tools from the "Explore Call" chapter as my blueprint while completing a mock presentation for a potential employer. They stopped me halfway through and said we don't need to go any further, this is one of the best presentations we've sat through for this role. I highly recommend this to anyone working in or adjacent to sales that wants a fresh perspective and guidance on selling the Inbound way!

Being an inbound marketing agency owner I understand the impact of inbound marketing. However in this book Signorelli sheds light on inbound marketing's counterpart: inbound selling. This book not only gave me insights into my own business but also into ways I can help my clients to grow through inbound sales. Inbound selling is the future of sale and Signorelli's experience and insights clearly show that he's at the forefront of the inbound sales movement. Highly recommend!
