I was so excited to read more about the Callaghan & McFaden family, and especially to read Gabe & Maya’s story!! One of the reasons that I love Kimberly Rae Jordan’s stories is that they center around various conditions, handicaps, diseases, & situations like, in this one, cancer and the fight & fear involved in it. Although these are wonderfully sweet romances, she never shies away from the struggles of moving past the stage of one trying to understand why God allows bad things to happen to them, and on to the stage of not allowing fear, worry & regret to rob one of the joy of living. I loved this quote: “Enduring pain when you don’t have to, doesn’t make you a hero, it just makes you cranky!†I CAN’T WAIT to read the next book! These are delightful, yet thought-provoking books!
This book was my favorite of the series so far! Gabe was so full of life and Maya was such a sweetheart. After surviving cancer twice, she wants to embrace life and be treated like a normal girl. Even though Gabe's sense of adventure attracts her, it also concerns her. As always, Kimberly Rae Jordan's writing will tug at your heartstrings. I can't wait til the next installment in the series!
I enjoyed this book,more of the lives and loves of the Callaghan & Mc Faddens. I think I would like to see just one of the couples elope! I guess I'm a romantic and love a good elopement story~ maybe, because that's what my husband and I did. It also never ceases to amaze me at how the person suffers so much while trying to protect themselves from a relationship that may cause them to suffer! I guess that's just a standard basis for a story!
I loved this book. I have read other books by this author and none have disappointed, especially this one. I would recommend her books to anyone who loves Christian romance.
I'm out of words to describe my feeling while reading this book... If you have any feeling left you'll enjoy this tremendously
Fear! Adventure! Determination! Leap of faith! Of course love... The main character didn't let her past health issues stop her in her desire to experience life. The handsome twin needed to grow up! Loved the story and its surprises.
What a beautiful story of love that lasted through many trials and denials. They finally got it right and headed for their happily ever after
I really enjoyed reading this book. It made me feel like I was right there with the characters. This is the third series I've read from Kimberly,and like other two i will read the rest of The series.
